Human epilepsy at Microsoft

Hi everybody,

I have recently gave a talk on human epilepsy. I was positively surprised that Microsoft Research started working on bioscience with the disease angle in mind. Most of their work is related to cancer, but they are interested in other diseases as well. This summer they invited me to give a talk about human work at Allen. First I gave the presentation about the Institute and how it works, then switched to our translational work here. It was very encouraging to see the feedback from many clever people around, including interns. Most of the audience was virtual, but it has not prevented the seminar to be very vibrant and interactive. Given the data we have hope we could form the new insights how epilepsy could be cured.
